LovetoLearnMD provides support to children and families with a variety of speech, language, and learning needs including:

• The assessment and treatment of children with:
  • Articulation/phonology delays and disorders
  • Childhood apraxia of speech
  • Autism spectrum disorder
  • Communication and learning delays and disorders
  • Expressive/receptive language delays and disorders 
  • Executive functioning deficits
  • Reading comprehension deficits
  • Academic language support
  • Literacy needs
• Spanish-speaking bilingual speech and language services (offered in Baltimore City only or virtually)
• AAC device consulting for caregivers and/or schools. Our SLPs are happy to collaborate with BCBAs and RBTs.
• Community-based speech and language therapy for young adults with developmental disabilities
• Virtual speech-language therapy
• Family training and support
• Observations of school settings, including support in IEP meetings
• Speech and language screenings for child-care centers, preschools, or elementary schools

LovetoLearnMD, LLC currently provides services in your home, in private-school or daycare settings, or virtually. If applicable, services can also be provided in the community to promote generalization. 

Fees

LovetoLearnMD, LLC is an out-of-network provider. Many clients choose to seek reimbursement through their insurance company. Reimbursement varies and depends on your out-of-network benefits. If you choose this route, LovetoLearnMD, LLC will provide you with a “superbill” that you may choose to send to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please note that speech and language therapy and BCBA services are often covered by out-of-network benefits. Clients are responsible for contacting their insurance companies to inquire about out-of-network benefits and reimbursement.

Call the number on your child’s insurance card to determine your out-of-network services. Here are some questions you might want to ask:

1. What are my out-of-network benefits for outpatient behavioral health services?
2. What is my deductible? How much of my deductible has been met this year?
3. Do I need a referral from an in-network provider to see someone out-of-network?
4. Are there limits to the total number of sessions per calendar year?
5. Are there limits to the total amount reimbursed per session (e.g., what is my “allowable amount”)?
6. Is a pre-authorization required?
7. Is a formal, standardized assessment required? If so, what other paperwork from the provider is required?
